DR. ANNE SCHOLL- MEALEY, PRACTICE OWNER
Dr. Scholl graduated from Colorado State University in 1989. She practiced for one year in Massachusetts but decided to leave there because she disliked the cold weather. She moved to Orlando in 1990 to be warmer and to live closer to her sister. After working for other doctors in the area for several years, she opened her own practice (Chickasaw Trail Animal Hospital) in 1994. Her mission was to care for pets in the manner that she believed in: to treat them as if they were her own. Due to a growing need for another animal hospital in Southeast Orlando, she opened Animal Hospital at Vista Lakes in May 2005. Although Dr. Scholl does not practice at Animal Hospital at Vista Lakes her staff is committed to practicing the same compassionate, high quality medicine she is known for. Dr. Scholl has two sons, Shaun and Parker, and a very supportive husband, Jay. She also shares her home with 2 Coonhounds Hubert and Sounder, and retired hospital mascot, cat Timone. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoys water-skiing, diving, and playing with her sons.
